Armed Forces Day

Did you know…It’s Armed Forces Day, y’all! πŸͺ–πŸŽ–οΈ

Today we honor the men and women who serve in the United States Air Force , U.S. Army , U.S. Coast Guard , U.S. Marine Corps , U.S. Navy , National Guard , and U.S. Air Force and Space Force Recruiting .

Domestic, abroad, and even in space, these brave and courageous souls go above and beyond to keep us safe and preserve our freedom.

No matter your political stance, it’s important that we take time to recognize the sacrifices they have made for our nation. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Will you pray for them and let them know that we appreciate their service?πŸ—£οΈ

I was contacted yesterday by a high school classmate who I haven’t talked with in years. He shared about his traumatic struggles in the military as a frontline officer in the infantry. I can’t begin to imagine the trauma faced and it’s important that they have support (outside of the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs ). The struggles these men and women have faced is real. You may feel like “shell shock” is something from a bygone era and I can vouch for you that it is not! I encouraged reaching out to Safe Call Now , 22Zero , REBOOT Recovery , Mighty Oaks Warrior Programs , or Save A Warrior – “SAW” as these organizations are doing great work to save the lives of our first responders, active duty military, and veterans.

It takes #1Peer to make a difference and these service members need our support!

Share this to show your appreciation for the sacrifices they have made for our freedom ❀️
