The Beauty of Birth

What do you find beautiful? Maybe it is the beauty of nature. Or, perhaps the beauty of something good to eat. Maybe it includes the beauty of those around you. And, maybe it is the beauty of birth.

I want to focus on that last example today.

Who created you?

Who gave you your hair color, your height, and your personality?

Are you beautiful?

Genesis 1:27 states that you were created in the image of God. This is amazing, powerful, and beautiful! You are beautiful! You are beautiful because God created you, he chose your hair color, your height, your personality, and everything about you!

The Bible says:

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. (Psalm 139: 13-14, ESV)

You are wonderfully made and that means that you were looked at as being extremely good or delightful. God delights in you because He loves you and He created you! You were not an accident. You are not just a conglomeration of cells crashing together.

You were designed! He designed you to be the unique and beautiful person you are.

On April 27th, 2021, at 12:29pm, we welcomed a beautiful baby boy into this world.

Gideon Michael weighed 7lbs 13ozs and measured 20 inches long. He is a healthy little guy and is adored and loved by his big 3 sisters!

Although it may not look like it, all of his sisters love him to pieces!

If you are curious why we chose the name Gideon, you can read more about his name meaning here. It is quite interesting!

We believe that birth and life are beautiful events are need to be appreciated. Each person has been fearfully and wonderfully made by the Great Designer.

We are very thankful for those who have demonstrated love toward us and have prayed with us through this birth journey.

Thank you to all!
